Wood+Partners Inc. is an award-winning land planning and landscape architecture firm specializing in mixed-use residential communities, resort hotels and club facilities, urban design and retail shopping destinations, park and recreation facilities, waterfront developments and university and college campus facilities.
The firm’s President, Mark L. Baker, ASLA and Vice Presidents Todd Theodore and Kyle Theodore each bring between 20 to 35 years experience in all facets of master planning and landscape architecture. They lead a professional staff of planners, landscape architects and designers specializing in both public and private sector projects.
WPi was founded in 1988 by Perry L. Wood, FASLA, and Edward G. Evans, Jr., ASLA, on Hilton Head Island as a community planning and resort design firm and has steadily expanded serving clients including Sea Pines Resorts, International Paper Realty, Crescent Resources, Reed Development, Reynolds Plantation Company, CSX Realty, Marriott Vacation Club and Centex.
Known for expertise in community and resort planning in the early years, WPi expanded into the public sector market with park, recreation, and urban design projects when Mark L. Baker, Todd Theodore and Kyle Theodore joined the firm in 1998, bringing expertise in these fields.
WPi opened an office in Tallahassee in 2005 to provide services to clients throughout Florida, South Georgia and Gulf Coast region.
The firm’s work has expanded to a wide variety of geographic regions and includes projects and clients throughout the Southeastern and Gulf Coast states as well as the Caribbean, the Bahama Islands, Baru Island off the coast of Cartagena, Colombia as well as a planned community south of Bogota, Colombia. WPi has a strong history of working with developers and public officials in the local communities it serves.
