The Marriott Grand Hotel located in Point Clear, Alabama dates back to 1847 and is known as the “Queen of the South” hotel. WPi was the designer and landscape architect for this state-of-the-art pool facility, carefully crafted around the numerous existing specimen oaks. The amenities span over 12,000 SF and include pools, spas, rock and waterfall feature, and a waterslide. The facility also features a Tom Sawyer themed playground and raised decks. All of these amenities were designed to preserve the historic live oak trees.
